Hi there, I'm Beth and am soon to be the owner of a Senegal Parrot named Rodney. 
I originally decided on a Cockatiel so had the cage, toys etc. ready but then after a lengthy discussion with a Tiel owner, decided against it due to my asthma (apparently they are dusty birds?)
Having looked after my friend's Senegal before I decided I'd be better off getting one of them instead. Anyway, got chatting to my friend and she asked if I wanted hers because she was struggling to give him the time and attention he was craving, and with renovating houses, etc. he was in the way bless him.
So, he is coming to me tomorrow, I can't wait!
