Hi Everyone!
I am finally back after a crazy fall and winter! As many of you know, I own a candy store in Vermont. Well between October and Easter I am usually super busy and don't have time to get on the forum much.
Well on top of just being generally busy, I've had a few other things happen that has taken a lot of my time. My mom had a small fire in her apartment and had to live with me for over a month. Plus I had to deal with working with her senior housing complex to get her apartment cleaned up and livable again. On top of that she was in the hospital twice with a intestinal obstruction this past fall and winter.
I had 14 people visiting this past Christmas with most of them staying at my house for a week. :11: Needless to say, that was a lot of work.
On top of that, I ended up with a moth infestation at my house due to some bird food I bought at a small pet store in August. I suspect what I thought was a fresh bag of bird food was not. Unfortunately, I no longer had the bag and couldn't check the date. it was a pain to get rid of them! But I can honestly say, my home is moth free as of now! I saw my last moth last week! Yay!!
But the good news is me, my family and my fids are all doing well! How is everyone else doing? I am looking forward to checking out the forum to see what everyone has been up to.
By the way, who did the awesome Parrot Forum staff signatures?? They look awesome!!
