Hell night!!!

They didn't sleep in their cages. I let them all out at bedtime, and put them in their spots.

They are extra cuddly this morning.

It's just like little kids, when they're fighting with each other. When it's over, it's over... BUT SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS.

Even good birds REALLY MISBEHAVE once in awhile.

It really doesn't happen very often, BUT LAST NIGHT TOOK THE CAKE. WORST ONE OF THOSE I CAN REMEMBER.

I hear you, Mark. There are days here where I wonder what happened to my sweet flock. Days where Niko wants nothing more than to yank on Ripley's tail. Or days when Ripley bows his head to Niko, as an invitation to get preened (which he 'usually' does), but Niko instead pecks at him. :52:

Same with the Amazons. Some days Sam just seems.....possessed. :18_crazy:

Is it weird I was playing the music from Jaws at one point while reading this story?

LOL, sounds like a fun night Mark!

IT WAS MORE LIKE SOMETHING FROM THE BAR ROOM BRAWL SCENE IN ROADHOUSE... (Minus the blood.)

Years ago, (and since it's almost halloween, this is topical) I did a simple halloween costume. Wore a cloak, had my face painted red, and had some pretty fancy life like devil horns stuck on my forehead...

Well, TUSK was freaked out. The macaws wanted absolutely nothing to do with me... AND THE AMAZONS WERE FASCINATED, SUPER FRIENDLY, AND MAKING HAPPY NOISES, AND COURTING ME. WHICH CONFIRMS WHAT I, AND MANY OTHERS, HAVE LONG SUSPECTED ABOUT ZONS...

THEY HAVE A SATANIC SIDE...

(which is what the 666 joke was all about. I'm not a devil worshiper... I just worked with the "evil" birds most of the time. "Evil" birds just seem to like me for some reason.)

I have a turkey hat, wondering how the fids are going to react to that for thanksgiving.

Good grief. Sounds like the offenders all deserved a good time out! Hopefully all had calmed down by this morning?

My birds attack most hats, rip them off your head, and then throw them across the room... Especially that big red bird. It's immediate. THAT THING does not belong on your head! Take it off!

Except ski hats... Those are perching materials... you can make yourself a little nest with those things...

Some folks learn good posture by balancing a book on their heads. Others have flighted amazons in the house, and put on a ski hat. :D (This is probably a 20 year old photo. I was much younger and prettier then... )

Mine have been louder than normal today too. Perhaps they sense something incoming? (Earthquake?)

There was a HUGE storm coming... Coincidence, or not?!

Not much in the way of earthquakes in San Antonio. SF yes, SA notsomuch. We get floods...

Oh, and Lila and Sally are definitely getting wing clippings...

I've just about had it with doing laps around the living room.

Semi-flighted, you can go back and forth. No more flying laps, flying upstairs, or aerial combat.

And more outside time as a trade off...

OMG !! [who needs TV :)]

The game didn't end up being very good anyway...

Brady pretty much tore them apart. N.E. may repeat this year.

Pats have some hard games coming up and with a shattered Offensive line, it's gonna be rough.

Either way.... GO PATS!!!!!:D

On edit:

Saw this a couple days ago... made me grin a bit...

Yeah, well, the Niners are gonna suck for the indefinite future...

But at least Jed York has a coach who speaks nicely to him, and doesn't try to tell HIM how to build a winner...

JED ONLY KNOWS HOW TO DESTROY WINNING TEAMS.

I have often wondered what the 666 was about....just wasn't going to ask in case I didn't like the answer..

You live in Texas and aren't a Cowboys fan?

(lifelong Cowboy fan here, even if I can't stand the current owner & coach)

Live in Texas NOW, but I spent most of my life in the SF Bay area...

LIFELONG NINERS FAN....

Which means my two favorite teams are THE NINERS and anyone PLAYING AGAINST DALLAS...

Grew up hating the Cowboys with a passion, and I still do... I just can't vocalize it around here because y'all take your football and your GUN RIGHTS... WAY TOO SERIOUSLY... "I had to shoot him, he cheered when the Cowboys got scored on!"

Eagles anyone? Though I've spent more time groaning this season than anything.

I was born in Texas, lived here all my life, and I'm still not a Cowboys fan, and I definitely don't look down on people living here that aren't Cowboys fans either. Birdman, you're safe with some of us. ;-)

The evil Chargers have been whining about their stadium for years and their shaking of San Diego's fiscal and taxpayer "tree" has reached a fever pitch. If any of you want this loser team, permission is granted. They'll likely cut and run to Los Angeles..... good riddance.
