Today while watching a movie on the couch with my 6 month old blue and gold beast I learned something new...

Rhage has started potty training himself!! ROFL.

I noticed any time he has to potty he would go to the edge of the couch and back over to it to potty on the floor. He never gets the actual couch. Like he KNOWS to potty on the floor. So I started lining the floor along the couch with newspaper and saying 'Potty'.

I figured we'd start on that portion of training later on but I guess he is ready now

How cool! That's actually quite smart, considering how big their poops are LOL! I follow Bandit the Scarlet macaw on Facebook and she does the same thing, instead of going on her owner's bed she'll scoot out to the farthest spot she can and poops off the bed onto the floor. And I think it's one specific spot, too, her owners will just put down some potty pads and wait for her to go!
