Have to laugh...

Wish I had my camera..I just made Purl some of the Higgins Worldly Cuisine Spice Market and mixed it with a little sweet potato. She hasn't come up in the last 5 minutes and when she did she had all this couscous stuck to her beak. She looked at me and dove back in...LOL!!

So I know that's a hit..first time I've tried it.

This morning was a little bit of a success..she slid down the side of her cage..got to my level and stuck out her foot. I put out my arm and she climbed up and we had a preening session. Unfortunately her preening my arm hair causes her to eventually rip my skin. Looks like I got attacked by a swarm of mosquitoes (any one in NJ will understand that..LOL!)

Well that is good! I love when they have messy beaks, so cute We tried the World Cuisines too, Inca bean and the boys wouldn't touch it but I thought it smelled great! I wasn't too suprised, Linnies are suspiscious of anything new. House is more adventerous and usually is the official taste tester and then Wilson will try. The only thing they have taken to immediately was spaghetti. Everything else takes many attempts, me eating it and it cut/cooked just right Next time I will try one with rice, since they finally decided they like rice.

Wow , that's great! She is a hoot ....I just love it when I cook stuff my babies go nuts for . They almost purr when they are eating something they love : )

Loki does that! Pretty much every single morning he makes what I can only describe as purring, when he's let out to eat his pellets. And he does it again when I give him grapes.

She is in love with this stuff. I ordered more varieties for our store..which of course she'll get to try out...LOL!! Now every perch has some too..first on the concrete one, then the different woods ones trying to get it off. She finally came out of her cage and let me scratch the rest off for her. I let her suffer a little by taking a bunch of pictures because I was cracking up. Mean Mommy!

It's a bird product. I have a pet supply store so I got it easily. I think the on-line stores they promote here would have it. Or your local pet supply store would have it. Possibly Petco/Petsmart. It's called Higgins Worldly Cuisine
The one Purl was eating is Spice Market and then I mixed in some sweet potato.
