My name is Bobby, and I'm happy to become a member here. A few years ago my wife and I were given our 1st parrot and it happened to be a special needs African Grey, about a week ago we bought a bare eyed cockatoo, but we don't have a lot of experience but we are learning quickly, about both of these birds, we were told our African grey fell out of the nest as a baby and broke his neck, he keeps his head upside down, but our cockatoo is supposed to be a year old and there is nothing wrong with her

Hello Bobby, Welcome to the forum! Your African Grey sounds like a very special bird indeed. I love the bare eyed cockatoos. Looking forward to hearing more about both your birds.

Hi there and welcomed. I have an Ekkie (Ecklectus) that turns her head upside down to survey her surroundings. At first it freaked us out but after weeks it has proven to be just a special talent for her. Have you had your Gray checked out at a vet, meaning a well visit? If not consider that for the gray and the too. How long have you had your gray?

We have had the grey for about 4 yrs, he will let us pet him and kiss him on the head, but doesn't want to get out of his cage, and doesn't like his neck messed with

Welcome to the forum! Would love to see pictures of your babies if you get a chance to post them! :)
