I love you, handsome dude! My little greenie beanie who's ALWAYS right in my face. I wouldn't have it any other way ❤️❤️❤️

No, fortunately Tucker has never been a plucker. He'll barber a little bit once in a while, but no plucking, thank goodness.

My first ekkie, Patches, was the life long plucker long before I adopted him, and the one who taught me everything. Or at least gave me the reason to research and learn. First ekkie, first plucker, and first one to choose me. It was a steep learning curve, but he made it so worth doing. I miss him every day, but I guess everything for a reason. He made me a better birdie dad. Much better, and definitely more humble. It's good for all of us to realize we don't know everything. I sure as heck don't, and I'm always trying to expand my knowledge base because our feather babies deserve the very best life we can provide them. ❤️

I’m with you on staying humble, and trying to do what’s best for our parrots. It gets challenging the more educated one gets. Because Nico has fatty liver issues I’ve been taught how to feel for that. Because his beak grows fast I’ve learned about over grown beaks, and what to look for. I had to learn about poor feather condition because of Nico as well. I learned so much from him. Now I can look at photos and see things on other parrots. I have to remind myself that pointing stuff out is rude, and that the recipient may not know. People mean well, and that’s all that matters.
