We lost Cricket in January of this year. I can’t get him back, but I can do my best to do better by our other two birds - and I hope I am.
Funnily enough, he happened to share my birthday! Today would have been his third birthday. We miss the little guy, and think about him all the time. In my big bouquet of Kirby feathers is one impossibly perfect tail feather from the little fella.
Fly high, Cricket! One day Kirby and I will catch up with you.
