In April, (I know... took me just a little while to post this :)) we went to the Pet Expo when it came to town. They have a ton of vendors for products for all types of companion and pet animals. CHEAP! Quality products and well known brands selling far below retail. Of course, the bird section was small compared to the dog section, but look what I got for Robin! He loves it.

Salty practically lives his life on one similar. We have a plastic chain going from his cage roof to his hanging gym, from which we hang all his chew and destroy toys and all sorts of stuff . He navigates those chains like a sailow knows his running and standing rigging.

Absolutely love these :)

Love the hanging gym, Lady Jules! And great to see Sir Robin, again! He's looking good!

Laurasea, you can find a play stand similar I think, but this is one super special Red Bellied Parrot :D. Not enough money in the entire world worth enough for him lol :). He’s the most laid back, super cuddly, and understanding and forgiving (what parrot is forgiving?!) Parrot that I’ve ever known... and I’ve known a lot and had my share too of species large and small.. Robin is truly one of a kind. I’ve had him for 24 years! Since he was 3 months old :).

Thanks Stephen :D!

Wwow! 24 wonderful years way to go! Robin great name for a great bird! Well I'll just have to settle for more pictures!

My 10 year-old U2 (re-homed by me) is a clumsy wuss who HAAAAATES these.....(MUCH TO MY DISMAY, as I think they are AWESOME!!!)- She is like an old-young (or young-old) woman who wants predictability and chaos all at the same time.

Arg..why can't my bird like toys that are as surprising, interesting, exciting and complicated as she is?...lol
I am so happy that so many other birds DO appreciate these LOL.

Mine will play with things that hang off of the perch (progress considering she never has played and for a long time, she wouldn't go near it)...so my beautiful perch is like a glorified hanger....I just have to hope that one fine day, she decides that the perch isn't the devil incarnate.

Besides, Julie knows you'd have to wait in line, Laurasea. I've always loved me some Robin! That old man has always been my favorite of Lady Jules' flock!

that looks fantastic, and so does the gym ;)

Enzo loves to hang out on the high perches swinging from the ceiling, she practices her acrobatics on them lol, usually she is upside down with her head shaking and demanding i join in with the fun, she seems to like running straight down such perches normally to my horror!... and a great place to roost before 'ni night' time
