Halo, my lovebird is my all time favourite out of all of my flock.
Anytime she beaks my finger a little hard I'll say to her 'don't bite so hard'
then she proceeds to climb up my arm and reach over to give me a kiss, like 'I'm sorry I bit you too hard'...it really is amazing, she does it most times.

Most of the birds I have here, she allows on her cage without biting their toes, that means she accepts them there, like Safari, Num Num, and a few others.
then there are a few she will downright take their toes off.
the two she doesn't care for much are my other lovebird is Luna, and Flare,my newest conure.(she's just jealous right now)

Whenever she goes to bite their toes, I'll say to Halo just before she does it, "not so hard!"....then she will let them off easy with a little warning nip.

I find it truly amazing that she took the learning experience of not biting my fingers so hard and used it in different areas and is now preserving some toes

That's so sweet! Do you have any tips for others on how to train them not to bite so hard?
