Had to share my happy morning moment with JJ

So this is the first morning I had to juggle JJ, getting ready for work and getting my kids ready for school all by myself. I would say it went pretty good, I got JJ her breakfast(which the whole time I was making it she was hanging upside down on top of her cage flapping her wings, looked like a bat,lol).

I only work for about an hour in the morning as a crossing guard so when I got home I opened her doors and she immediately jumped out and came over to me to get picked up. She hung out with me about two hours this morning on my shoulder and I just put her back in her cage but she keeps coming out and everytime I walk past she tries to stretch out to climb on,lol.

So I hope this means she is getting more comfortable with us. Another odd thing is I can't pet her if she is sitting with me but my husband can pet her, but yet if he is holding her than I can pet her and he can't pet her. I guess it's just a funny little quirk of hers.

My Bella does the same thing, she wants to ride on my shoulder and when you put her back you cant get to close or she will jump right back on. But she never lets anyone pet her, probably because she has a boyfriend that can scratch her head.

What great progress you've made! Things seem to be going really well with you two, and it seems as she's really bonded with you = )
