Itā€™s a little rat girl that got upgraded from feeder to pet status:) The ball python she was intended for didnā€™t want her and then the random other ball python didnā€™t want her and I had fed all the other snakes the day before. So this girl is just plain old lucky and pretty sweet! I have a cage coming in and picking her up a blue, dumbo or blue dumbo female friend when I find one. Thereā€™s a reptile show in about two weeks and Iā€™ll probably find one there.

She kept passing out while sitting with me and she hasnā€™t gone to the bathroom on us once.

Lol I thought it was pretty obvious when I said it was lucky hahaha

Ended up taking a look at craigslist and found this litter of dumbos that a guy accidentally had happen. His kid put a female in the wrong cage. This girl I picked out reminds me of my first rat when I was little. The first one is named Munch now and this little dumbo girl is called Penny.

The girls had these guys out for a large portion of the day. There was no greater temperament test than two young girls dragging them in and out of the cage every two minutes, squealing and generally being excited while holding them haha.

After the girls went home I had them out with me and they passed out in my shirt.

Victoria! So I come back and see youā€™re now into rats!! Snakes nā€™ Rats. Hmm, I would have a problem feeding the same species as I keep as a pet lol :D. Theyā€™re pretty cute though!

Lol Iā€™ve had rats off and on thru the years. My first pet was a rat! I at one point bred a few rats for feeders too but it was just too much work/smell. I used to have a problem the first few times when I was 12 feeding the live rats but it is what it is really. Now I just pick one up at the store and go ā€œyou are so cute!ā€ and then drop it into the snake bin. Which sounds heartless but if given too much time to bond itā€™ll be a pet:rolleyes:

The dark girl really did just get lucky that the ball python only likes to eat albinos apparently and everyone else had just eaten. I mean 60+ snakes at the time and everyone had eaten already but the ball python! I mean I need that kind of luck lol Also, that Iā€™m not an overfeeder so I didnā€™t want to feed any of the boas or retics twice. Plus, that she was sweet;)

Lol :18: I couldnā€™t do it.
