Growth on ringneck nose

Hi everyone, I have a ringneck with a growth next to his left nostril. He is behaving normally otherwise, seems active and healthy. When I touch the growth he doesn't complain at all so it appears it isn't painful, he actually makes the same noises as when I give him head scratches. I realise I'll have to take him to a vet, just hoping someone can recognise what it may be ahead of that. Many thanks.
