Hi,

Today i read that green cheeks shouldn't,t have grit because i causes a blockage.
Is this true?,cause then this would be the fourth lie my breeder has given me,that could cause my birds harm.

They shouldn't have grit. The breeder was probably not outright lying, but uninformed and not with the times. Hookbills have no need for grit, that's for pigeons and chickens, birds that swallow seeds whole and need them to be ground up in the gizzard. Parrots shell their seeds, and have no need. Grit can definately cause harm.

thank you,took ik out.
I honestly think he just doesn't care.
He is the most know green cheek breeder of my country and way overpriced the birds.
I paid 175 euros for my gcc and another 100 for the gender test which i found out was again not the real price.
