Hi all,
We are new to the forum and I'm relatively new to parrots, only having experience with cockatiels when I was much much younger. After several weeks of meeting birds and different species, we adopted a five month old male Jardine's Parrot we've named "Zuri". He's the sweetest little bug. Zuri shares a house with three greyhounds and a rabbit and so far the interactions have been good (and safe).
I'm still in the process of learning as much as possible about parrot-keeping and using this forum is a big part of that process. Hopefully I can eventually be useful here, but for now I'll just be a sponge.
Here's a picture of Zuri with his mom on adoption day.
