Green Quaker in the light

Question for you green quaker owners. Penny my rescue has started to have orange/ Yellow highlight in bright light. Is this normal, how green just looks in bright light? The pictures don't capture don't do justice to the bronze orangish highlight she had developed. So I just don't know if it's cuz she is finally clean, or lack of sunlight from before? Or just how they look? Color variation? A sign of some nutrition defect??? S

Penny's feathers look perfectly normal for a standard green QP. Ralph's feathers look almost rust colored when they're still wet after his bath. In really bright light, they can look more like a greenish-yellow.

Yep, looks like a completely normal green Quaker. They all have "highlights" throughout their feathers, they're not just solid-green, just as my normal blue Quaker has some green throughout her feathers.

Sometimes, lighter and bronzier looking feathers can be a sign of old feathers. I have a couple of old photos of my mitred conure showing these feathers but they are kind of hard to see. The older feathers also have bronzing (or darkened) at the edges.
