Green beans

I offer green beans once per week and none of my birds will eat. I believe they are relatively high on the list of pesticide-contaminated veggies, so best to buy organic and unsprayed. (I realize some aspects of organic are controversial)

So should I wash them really good, today i gave them broccoli carrots and blueberries.

Birds can be stubborn and reject food for years, only to become curious, try, and perhaps like. One of my Goffins tossed pear overboard for decades before sampling a bite and loving them!

My ringneck tries everything but the budgies only really eat the broccoli tomorrow I will chop everything up and mix it together.

Keep giving them the choice, and eat it with them. It can take years lol---years of frequent presentation (before they decide to try something new). STUBBORN. Be cautious with stringy veg, like snap peas and celery. Avoid tomatoes (but they can have a little--NO STEMS OR GREEN PARTS AT ALL), don't give a lot of parsley, no mushrooms, no onion, garlic, chives, leeks, shallots etc. Be a but cautious with cabbage and don't give spinach too often. Avoid excessive citrus fruits...no apple seeds...no fruit pits...NO RHUBARB, NO AVOCADO, iceberg lettuce in extreme moderation (because it can leech calcium and because it can fill them up without providing the nutrients they need). Certain beans are also unsafe and all canned veg should be avoided due to sodium and preservatives.
