Well, that is precisely the idea! All birds, all of the time!!

You are correct, there is no specific "Donate Button" in plain sight!!

If you wish to be a cool new Supporting Member, please do the following:

Click "User CP" near the top-middle of the screen. (between Photo Gallery and Community)

Once in the User page, look near the bottom at the left margin and click "Paid Subscriptions."

You'll see a page detailing the benefits. If agreeable, look to the bottom right of the screen and observe a drop-down window labeled "cost" with an order button to the right. Click the arrow to drop-down the $9.99 yearly cost and select Order. PayPal is the preferred method!

They hide it really well. That way, you have to search long and hard to find it, or just give up and ask. Either way, it acts as a screening mechanism, i.e., You have to be addicted.

I love that quote and also remember it from another member on another forum. It was Bird Talk Magazine years ago. A select few of us were close. After awhile, the forum slowly faded; we all went different ways on different forums, some even on the same forum as each other. At the same time someone created their own forum. Forums in general then slowly went down, in the favor of social media.

It is nice to finally find a forum with the camaraderie that once was, right here.
