trying too look for a cage I will probably have to get by mid september. Bigger is better I know, also i work in construction so on some days i work 12 hour shifts (mostly 10 though). But im 100% sure whenever im home he will be out and when i leave the house besides work he will come with me. the store I go to gets their cages from king cages and i was looking on their website. My friend that runs the store said he's able to get any cage on that website and they are also having a big sale in a month or so on cages (15-20% off). Anyway here are the ones that i was looking at so tell whats the best!
thanks in advance :D:42:

Welcome to the forum:)

What type of Macaw are you getting?

I would say the 2nd Cage is the best one!

You will have to show us some pics of him if you have any:) Tango is a nice Name.

How are you going to get it out side to clean it?

lol going to have to take some pieces off if i want to take it outside to clean it. Has to come into the house in pieces to fit in the door haha

Go with the #506 if you can. I've got my B & G in there, and he loves it. The cage is an awesome size, and yes, H-E-A-V-Y, but built like a tank. Piece of cake to clean, too. :)

I love the #506 , I have two of them ! I also love the #509 but I dont think they make them anymore...

You will not regret getting the #506 !!
Kings are great cages IMO.

I have owned a Kings Cage European style (406) for 11 years. It has been a good cage, but if I were to do it over, I would get a different one. I would get the deepest available because mine has a perch that runs the width of the cage and the tail is always bumping into something. Keep in mind all the toys you will be adding to keep your buddy occupied while you are working. Another thing I don't care about is having the cage taller than I am and I am 5'10. If my choice was limited to a Kings, I would get the 506 as well. I chose white so that I can easily see the areas that need extra attention.

Kings Cages are good quality cages and I just received one of their playgyms as well, PP503. I like it, but don't care for the hoop because Merlin would rather sit on top of it.

I have a large cage for my GW macaw, thankfully we have french doors in the family room that goes right out to the patio, just roll it outside!

Yes , its a corner cage , a huge corner cage ,lol. To clean it , I practically have to get inside it , lolol.
But it was given to me along with Rosie :)
I wouldnt choose the corner cage again though. I have a problem with the pans on the bottom staying put. One of them just doesnt fit right and keeps falling off :(
I love my #508's though , they are wonderful cages :)
