I let the fids out around noon. JET flew to me screamed and flew back to food area. I put out some seeds to tide them over till I got veggies ready.

I wasnt feeling well so I sat down to rest for a minute. He kept flying to me screaming and flying back to feeding area.

They are now happily eating their veggies.

He only screams if he needs something. He is not a chronic screamer.
He also has a different chirp for when he wants something.

That's adorable. Its good that you know your birds so well. Haha.

What veggies do you feed them? My tiel used to be a sprout monster and LOVE them but he no longer eats sprouts and definitely does not eat nearly enough greens... I even made him veggie chop... it's driving me nuts. You are sooo lucky tour tiels love veggies!

That's so awesome! Ruby is exactly the same (well, except she has no wings to fly) and freaks out pacing until I bring her veggie mash. It's such a feeling of accomplishment knowing we are doing the absolute best for them.

Tropical I offered mixed veggies today. Carrots, corn, green beans and peas.

Dont give up. The first 6 months they mostly threw their food. They prefer cooked right now. Sometimes they prefer fresh. I was lazy today and didnt mash them. They still ate them.
