Goldenfeast?

I've tried bean supreme and Dexter liked it, but he LOVED the Caribbean Bounty more. I'm getting ready to re-order and keep getting lost in all the varieties! I want some of everything!

I finally made an order of the goldenobles. I want to string them on stuff for Foo. I didn't order from the company though I got them from Kingscages cause I had to order a couple carriers there.

I have never used this product. What should I try first? So many to choose, I have no idea where to start with sissy...any advice would be great. Thanks.

The bad part about starting your birds on this food is that they love it so much, you pretty much have to keep buying it and PRAY they don't quit making the formula your bird has grown to love. My small birds would eat nothing but this food, and unlike most seed mixes, they don't seem to pick their favorite stuff out. Mine seem to eat everything in it, and I'm not sure how they managed to entice them to do that. When my lovebird is finished with his bowl, it's just a pile of shells and dust. He also managed to gain 10 grams in a YEAR, which I'm attributing to this food. His vet said he had "cleavage." I just order it on Amazon and I've had zero problems with freshness. I use Australian Blend and Petite Hookbill.

I've been using South America Preservation Blend.

It'll last my GCC a while. I finally got around to stove-cooking per the directions some of it last night...only to forget to put it away after it cooled til this morning! Hopefully freezing it will make it safe, then we'll see how Mochi prefers the cooked stuffs vs thawed-frozen (how she gets it now).

Well of course Foo is the weird one. She doesn't like goldnobles. She keeps picking em out and tossing em out of her cage. I also strung some up on a little hemp string to see if that entice her. She's broke a few off, but I haven't seen her eat any yet. It's been since the beginning of the month.

I might try the conure specific one later.

Dexter was not a big fan of the goldenobles right away either. Try soaking a couple of the goldenobles for 3-5 minutes, then putting them in with his fruit or veggies. I did that for a couple of days, and now Dexter will eat them dry, but still doesn't eat very many of them - maybe 1 tablespoon per day. I use 'obles as a supplemental food, a dish that stays 1/4 full for him to munch on between breakfast and dinner if he's hungry, so I'm not concerned that he doesn't eat very many of them. I really only put them in there so I'm not afraid he's starving LOL.

Ya, pellets work kinda of that way here. She mostly eats fresh foods but I feel better having something there all the time. Plus in her play area's I have pellets too.

I'll try soaking them and putting them in one of her meals to see how that does.
