So upon my excited browsing of all things parrot (i'm enjoying shopping for toys and such WAY too much) I discovered this food called Goldenfeast. Honestly.... even I want to eat it, it looks so good. Now I plan to keep my bird on the Zupreem diet she was raised on (both the fruit pellets and blank pellets, hopefully switch her easily enough to the blank pellets with only a few fruit ones mixed in) and I know the 2nd part of her diet will be fresh veggies and fruit, but I thought this Goldenfeast food would be a WONDERFUL occasional feeding (like once a week type of thing, or maybe twice a week)

I'll be buying directly from their website of course, but i'm curious how big of fans are you parrot-mothers/fathers about Goldenfeast? :) The food looks absolutely splendid.

Goldenfeast is the bomb. They have so many awesome products I often wish that my parrotlet ate more so I could try them out more often!

I feed Goldn'obles III to my parrotlet daily. They are the perfect staple pellet because unlike most others, they don't use a corn/wheat base filler and instead have a quinoa base. Honestly, I would switch your bird from Zupreem if possible and see if she likes the Goldenfeast pellets. They have a really nice, spicy flavor that my boy loves and have so many more real, nutritious ingredients/supplements that are not just added vitamins.

I also really like their blends because many of them can be "cooked" by soaking in hot water and my bird seems to like the variety.

OOOhhh they do have pellets wow i didn't even see that :D I certainly will :D

yeah the 'cooked' part of all their food is really neat! :) Thank you <3

Yup yup yup - another Goldenfeast fan right here! :D LOVE their foods, and have found myself picking at it myself (seriously, it's delicious).

All my fids get a mix of different blends daily, along with Zupreem natural pellets (or Harrison, or TOPs). Of course they still get their fresh foods, veggies, chop and birdy bread, too.

They've had their Golden Obles for quite a while, if I'm not mistaken (their form of pellet)
It comes in different sizes:
Goldn?obles I | Goldenfeast Direct
Goldn?obles II | Goldenfeast Direct
Goldn?obles III | Goldenfeast Direct

Zilla and I are Goldenfeast fans! The Golden Obles is the only pellet she will eat, and she loves their variety of other foods, including the cook and serve ones.

:D Yes I saw they had 3 different sizes, I think III would be too fine for Jardy the Jardine's Parrot, so I'm leaning towards II, but wonder if type 1 would be just as good

I get the "originals" that look like over baked cheerios. Great for stringing into toys! And I think Zilla thinks she is getting real cheerios! :D

Yeah thats what I was thinkin too, and also read it's a popular idea, to string them on toys, etc. :)

As much as I'd love to order the small bags of them all, I don't think little Jardy would eat them all before they expired xD any reccomendations of a flavor to try first? I'd probably get 2 bags for a start.

I have been feeding Goldenfeast for 11 years to all of my birds they love it and they are doing great. I really think this is the very best food for all birds.
I love the fact it don't have vitamins added which I have learned most vitamins that are added to parrot food come from china. I have been using the Pacific Coast & Goldn'obles because they both don't have any corn. I'm really worried what GMO corn is doing to our birds. I do add Organic corn to the Goldenfeast and a lot to their soft food.

I've also been eating it for years the fruit is so good.

I feed Australian Blend and Petite Hookbill to all my small birds, and they just love it and eat just about everything in it. I was so sad when MSBS quit carrying it, but I did find another (albeit more expensive) source. All my guys love it. I have fed it to my larger birds, but they picked out just their favorite parts and left the rest, so I had to go back to their regular pelleted diet and now they just get it one day a week as a treat.

Goldenfeast fan here! I love the way it smells, and most importantly my bird loves it too. I order directly from their website....I find it cheaper then say Amazon or other sites that may re-package the product which is a no-no with Goldenfeast.

I just bought a 4 lb bag of their South America preservation blend. $25 off of Amazon. Will update. Arrives tomorrow.

I just got some golden Obles for Kyo, and she seems to really like them! They're the first thing she picks up to eat from her dish. My only sort of complaint is they seem really hard, but otherwise I love the ingredients and they seem like they taste good :3

All I have are two little GCC's and I have a bag of TOPS, Zupreem, Roudybush, sprouting seeds, and small sunflower seeds. Will be adding this to the mix, along with Volkman Birdeez Buffet. I store everything in a freezer, in jars! FYI, my babies eat everything!

Kiwi loves Volkman Birdeez buffet... and I feed her Goldenfeast Australian Blend.

Just started our first bag of Goldenfeast Caribbean Bounty and Dexter LOVES it. He's not nearly as enamored with the Golden'Obles, but that's OK because pellets are just an extra snack for him anyway.

I have fed my birds goldenfeast for many years. My new ysgc conure is eating a combo of roudybush pellets mini, goldenobles II, tropic fruit pudding IV and conure blend along with cooked veggies and grain mixes. He gobbles them right down!!!!! You and your bird will love them...

So far Mochi the GCC is enjoying the SA preserve blend. Haven't tried quick-cooking yet. She soaks some of the colder refridgerated bits to soften 'em up. Still feeding Nupreem natural and fruit blend when being house at work/and at GF's. Gets a daily apple/grape pretty much always, tho still aiming to broaden that diet into more kale, papaya, etc. Seemed to enjoy Trader Joe's organic dried mango slices, too.

Quick followup - AFAIK, getting Vitamin D3 (specifically D3) and natural sunlight is integral to your bird's beak, bone, and nail health. So I'm going to keep mixing in her zupreem with Goldenfeast, since one of the good things about that mix is that it does have D3.

Goldenfeast has too many varieties! I'm looking for some suggestions on a blend for my B&G to try. I'm considering the Asian medley or the Caribbean South - any suggestions? I have already decided to try the goldenobles I, gardenflora II & bean supreme. Since they are offering 15% off right now & I will freeze everything for freshness I'm considering 1 more variety.
