A high iron diet can build up in a bird and give them what is called iorn overload which effects the liver functions. I know this from the avian vet I went to. I was then feeding baby food to Rosie and some of it also has high iron content.
Interesting article, Spiritbird. We're transitioning our 4 month old conure from seeds to pellets, now I wonder if that's a good idea. We already give him vitamin drops in his water. I'm afraid of overdoing the iron consumption now.

What ever you feed your parrots should be fed in moderation.
Variety & balance is the key. 1 or 2 Goji Berries 2 or 3 times a week isn't going to hurt them.
Also if your going to change over to pellets & a balanced diet of fresh fruit & veg it is not recommended to give any supps at all.
