A friend about 1 hour from me found that 1 of their does kidded (1 little girl and 1 boy) last night, here in MN it is very chilly with gusty winds and these little darlings got thoroughly chilled and Mama wasn't taking very good care of them. My friend was unable to bottle feed at this time so we arranged it that he'd give them to me and I would try and help them. Getting them warmed up and got the little boy to drink some milk. They could both use some prayers please!

Well I don't pray, but hopefully they are okay and you can help. Good thought sent to those babies and to you!

Will be sending good thoughts! I adore goats, I really hope you are able to pull them through.

I'll do that, right now they are all tucked into a tote with a blanket wrapped around them. Poor little things shivered for over an hour while I was rubbing them getting them warmed up. All toasty now though!

All my happy thoughts and a prayer are with those babies!:smile046: :30_angel:
You'll pull them through....their all snuggly warm now, they'll be HUNGRY when they wake up!!

Aww I'm so glad they are warmed up and snuggly!!

Haven't decided on names yet, they ate pretty good at midnight and the 5am feeding went well too. Looking MUCH better this morning! If all goes well I will try and get some pics later on :)

Aww...prayers and thoughts your way! This is how I ended up with my little goat being raised in the house. He was born on Christmas day and mama would NOT feed/take care of him. Brought him in the house, named him Prancer, put him in diapers...until Spring when it was warm enough to put him in the barn. I remember now that I said I would post pics of him in diapers for you..lol. I will, I promise. Keep up posted on your little "kids". You could name them Midnight and Dawn...lol

Walking around on the floor and trying to hop a bit so it’s looking hopeful! Here's a pic of them after they had their 9am feeding, all tuckered out! They are purebred Alpine but their ears got pretty cold, kinda droopy looking.

Awww, So sweet! I'm glad they're doing well. Adorable photo, keep us posted, please.

When I am feeling down I go to YouTube and look up vids of pygmy goats playing and jumping around and my mood instantly improves. :jumping40

If I was younger and didn't suffer so badly with allergies and asthma a herd of pygmy goats would happen!

I really wish I could find a farm that had them close by so that I could volunteer to play with the kids once in a while!
