The Girls (Kiwi & Mango) Parrotlets & Chester Indian Ringneck
Hi Everyone!

I would like to introduce myself and my feathered friends to all of you.

I'm Jennifer and I share my home with two Parrotlets (Kiwi & Mango) They are both almost a year old, blue and sister clutch-mates.

Chester, he is an Indian Ringneck, his age is still yet to be determined as a recent adoptee. He's a Lutino Lacewing from what I gather and what brings me here, but we'll get on to that later.

I also share my home with 2 Pugs and 3 very elder cats.

I look forward to meeting all of you parrot enthusiasts and chatting more about them.

:D

Jennifer

Welcome Jennifer :) we love to see pictures here! I bet the blue Parrotlet sisters are cuties. Do they sit close touching each other while resting on a perch? The lacewing IRN's are gorgeous!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will post some pictures for you to enjoy in the next couple of days. I'm away from my computer that they are all stored on. :)

"The girls" as I call them (Kiwi & Mango) do sit up close on their perches together. I adopted them as a pair about 6 months ago. I was told that I would have to separate them as they got older and sure they have squabbles but they love each other and I love that!

Chester, my IRN, has been ill since I adopted him 2 months ago. Now with a new vet and diagnosis, we are working on that. I'll be posting more about all of them but especially him as that's how I found this forum.

I am truly happy to have found other people who share my passion!!

Jennifer

I love when little birds sit close touching each other resting :) it's the cutest thing to see. I would think since they're bonded already it shouldn't change upon maturity. I hope not. I'm hoping the same thing for my younger two.

Best wishes for Chester too. I hope the new vet can make things better :)

Hello Jennifer, welcome to the Forum! So glad you joined us. The Girls sound adorable, looking forward to seeing their photos. I'm sorry Chester is ill, I hope he recovers quickly and completely.

My two little blueberries and big banana pics will be coming soon. That sounds weird, doesn't it? :blue2::blue2: :orange:

It's funny the terms of endearment we come up with isn't it?

Welcome Jennifer! They all sound adorable and I'm sure a delight to be around.

I know what you mean about the terms of endearment. Our cat has only a little nub for a tail (part maine coon, part manx) so we call him Mr. Stumpy Butt sometimes, or Waggle Butt, whichever comes out first lol. But he's a momma's boy and I love him. Our two beardies, which we thought were both boys (Lrrr Ruler of Planet Omicron Persei 8 and Ed Bighead), we called the boys. Then Ed turned up to be a girl and we still call her Ed Bighead and I can't stop calling them the boys. She's probably going to develop a complex about it lol.

Hi Jennifer and welcome! I am also looking forward to seeing pics of your babies:)
Love their nicknames, btw!
I have a cat named Nero, but for some reason we always call her Nobby Knees..lol.

And this is Chester, this is his first cage. He has a new one now since I hated the first one. And lucky for him it's much larger.
