Gizmo is at it again

Gizmo and Pearl the cockatiels are working the nest box! They kept having eggs in the food bowl so I put the box in. It's funny because when people fall in love with my birds and want one I always tell them (after the HUGE responsibility rant!) to start out with something smaller to get used to the idea. Then they ask where they can get one and I tell them either a rescue or wait for Gizmo to have his yearly babies. So I've got a 2 person waiting list on a pair that either has (1 whiteface cinnamon pearl) or (1 low pearl cinnamon, 1 high yellow pearl cinnamon and one grey pearl). I don't know if it's possible for that to happen that way but they've had 4 clutches in their lives and had 2 of each. I let the parents raise the babies full term and I kidnap them everyday for a bit to socialize. They are back in their big cage now that the moving is done. I really look forward to their babies. It's a good way for them to help out with the expenses of their food and toys. I even offer to take babies back if it doesn't work out. I only let them breed once a year and they got 2011 off since things were to busy for them. They are the most prolific breeders too. Also decent parents if you don't mind a little overpreening.
