I know you heard this already, patience, it's key. It took me 3 months to get Buddy to shower, 5 months for him to shower alone. Sharing his vocabulary, 6 months, stepping up almost immediate but to do it every time 2 months. We have been working on target training for 2 months and harness training, 3 weeks and both are still in process. Buddy will fly to me when he's scared, that I saw happening at 4 months so at 4 months I know he really trusts me. The point is to encourage you because every bird and personality is different. If you get frustrated, take a break, I have taken lots of them, he. And I are both hard headed, good luck!
