Hi guys I currently have a Blue and Gold and Harlequin pair that I got bonded from the pet shop. I've had them in a large cage for over 3 years. I keep them in the living room and they spend a few hours on their play stand daily. I'm in the process of purchasing a 4th generation hybrid macaw that caught my eye and our hearts at the local Avian pet store. These guys have been in the area for 40 some odd years and they have always been helpful although I did not purchase my first pair from them. My plan is to keep the new addition in a separate portion of the house and go through all the protocols of quarantine. Now once I visit the avian vet and wait some time. What are the best ways to introduce each others presence to the other. Obviously not out of their cages as the new addition is maybe 8 months old and the original 2 are about 3.5 yrs of age.
