Just thought I'd share, momma budgie has been really camping out in her box the past 3 or 4 days so I knew something was up, and then today I finally "caught" them in the act. So, it looks like we will have some eggs here in the coming weeks. 
I'm so excited, I can't wait to welcome some little fuzz balls into the world 
She seems to be a pretty diligent momma, she has been spending at least 20 hours a day in her box, she comes out to eat and drink and socialize with papa budgie(sorry they don't have names yet) but if I walk anywhere near the cage while she is out, she runs straight to that box to guard it! 
So, wish us luck in our little adventure!
Oh and on a side note, I started to try and sprout some seeds, so we shall see how that goes as well.
