2 year old green parakeet named Byrdie.
I want to breed a pair of budgies, but my one pair will be kept inside. (Don't have a pair yet).

We keep our a/c at 73°. Will that be adequate warmth for the eggs and babies? The two breeders I know keep their birds outside so they couldn't answer my question.

Thanks in advance for help with this.

A room temperature of 73 with AC is fine. The interior of the nest box will have no drafts and will probably be at least 5 degrees warmer as a result plus Mamas body heat will also keep it warm. The chicks should be very comfortable.
Good luck!
