My name is Alex, I'm a newbie here
I've been thinking about getting a new friend for a while, but I'm not quite sure which parrot I'm right for.
I was a budgie owner for nearly 11 years, I think he was happy enough living with me. There were no problems with taming, or whatsoever, we've got him as a baby, not hand-fed. I will not consider myself as a skilled bird owner, but I have the general knowledge, which I'll expand with a great pleasure!
It's now been almost than two years since my budgie left, and I feel like I'm ready for a bird again. I'm eager to try getting a bigger and more intelligent bird, like a GCC or an INR, but not quite sure I have what that need.
I'm twenty years old, just graduated, working 9 to 5 for more than a year now and living in my own apartment, so my life is pretty stable.
I'll be able to devote about three hours on the weekdays and eight hours on weekends to a parrot.
As I mentioned earlier, I'm looking forward to getting a GGC or an INR, but open for suggestions based on your experience, I'll be extremely grateful for advice!
