Hello- I am a new IRN owner - just brought Tiki home on Friday. He/she is doing well and is very tame. I have a strange question though, at what age are they considered 'full grown"? everyone that sees him asks is this as big as he is going to get? I have no idea? He was hatched on 4/14/14. I previously owned a Parrotlet that passed away.
Thank you.

Natasha,

An IRN is fully grown at 40 cm's long and weighing about 116-140 grams.

As for maturity the males get their rings anywhere from 18 months to 3 years old so a bird of 3 years old would be considered mature.
