Fruit powder chop topping?

So mid candy shopping spree I stumbled upon "fruit powders" that looks to just be fruit that was freeze dried and then finely milled. What do you guys think about this being a chop topper or something?

Not crazy about it, rather feed the actual fruit.

Also, I have questions. Like what dragonfruit is actually that color? Are they milling the rind too, which can be toxic?

The pomegranates - why is that color so pale? What are they milking there, since the PIPs are all liquid?

I dont trust such highly processed food
Plus I'm sure there is mold spores in it...

When in doubt fresh, rinsed well, and raw is probably always the better alternative. Those colors on some of them look so vivid as to be unnatural. Still, at least for the more conventional offerings that have been vet-vetted, it might be worthwhile as a supplement to be sprinkled atop chop...

The color doesn't surprise me, there's pink dragonfruit too. As for the others i dont know.

Right there is red dragon fruit. It’s not purple like that powder. Color is way off.

I use them and I buy some of them from nuts.com pomegranate, coconut water, lucuma, maqui and another one. I mix them with water and mix them into unsweetened applesauce or banana baby food. I think if I remember correct the coconut water had added sugar and so I only bought it once.

I hope to have my own freeze dry someday soon.

I want my own freeze drier so bad, but I dont have like 6000 to drop on one so I'm super jealous
