Friend for my Jenday

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a friend for my 9 year old Jenday. I've read up on introducing new birds but I'm not sure what type of bird would be acceptable as a roommate. I wasn't going to get another Jenday. I was looking at Sun conures.

Are there any others that are recommended? I'm trying to find other breeds of similar size.

Keep in mind that a new bird might not EVER become friends with your current one. Or they may be such good friends that you are now the third wheel and left out. Allways a crap shoot adding new birds.

Would getting a younger bird increase my chances of a friendship forming? I don't mind being the third wheel as long as Ziggy is happy.

I suggest not a smaller parrot. Something too small Ziggy might bully, anything bigger and he will be bullied. a sun conure will fit that gap.
