- A Male Budgie called Stormy age 2
A Male Budgie called Sparky age 11 weeks
I recently posted about a new budgie we got after we had to put our little female budgie to sleep. That Post is HERE.
My partner is on a few budgie groups on Facebook and they have all pretty much said they think Sparky has French Moult and the story the breeder told us about him being attacked by his siblings was very unlikely.
I'm worried because the isolation period is almost over and he is getting lonely and really wants to interract with Stormy our adult budgie. Should we still introduce them? Stormy is 3 and is a strong boy.
I've attached a few more photos, I hope someone can take a look and advise me. if they think it is or could be French moult.
He is eating really well. He will try anything. Kale, Spinach, broccoli, red pepper, apple, mango, strawberries, boiled egg, quinoa, pearl barley, herbs such as coriander, basil and mint occasionallly.
He's such a brilliant eater and he is an explorer too. He loves foraging and playing. he's such a sweetheart.
Also, we won't ever get rid of him. If he does have French moult then we will accommodate him not being able to fly in whatever way we can.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you
