What's up with the post count, things are different now.

Perhaps I am having a blonde moment.....
I have not noticed anything different, pertaining to my post counts.

Please explain how it is different?

Mine says 175 post with a small 4 under it. I used to have over a thousand (i think) . It doesn't really matter to me ,just noticed something different all of the sudden. Yours says 773 with a small 9 under it.

I am not sure Richard... I am seeing your post count as 1757... Maybe something with your Computer!!

Is anyone else seeing the same thing as Richard??

Just check your post count 1758

Well the post count looks the same to me, but there was definitely some kind of update done to the forum.
Smilies are different and the "Thanks" button is different.
I'm sure there have been other changes.

Try shutting down and re-opening, if that does nor work, re-boot

Yes, try restarting your Computer Richard. This may help.

There were some forum changes to do with smilies and inserting links and images... These are now slightly different.

Emty all cache and cookies in your webbrowser.
Then it should be fine.

I found a few bugs and got rid of them. Tried restarting ,etc, but still the same. Post count shows the last digit below the first digits, ??? Guess i'll just live with it.

Remember a few days ago BillsBirds also had a similar problem
He was also reading things very differently from us
It landed up being a virus.................

Yes, I remember! Viruses can do some funny things

Hen, try this also, I do this on at LEAST a once a week basis. Follow step 2 using CCleaner (it's a free download)

MajorGeeks.com - Download Freeware and Shareware Computer Utilities.

Also there is a another freebie called Malwarebytes, it is awesome at removing alot of stuff as well.

Better yet...

Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing and upload it to the forum?

What browser is it? If it's Internet Explorer, have you tried going Tools -> Internet Properties -> Advanced tab and then clicking on Restore advanced settings and Reset... buttons? It may even help to delete personal settings.


If using I.E., make sure you have the latest I.E. for the Windows(?) version you are using. You can either get the updates from Windows Update or by downloading a fresh copy of I.E.


Heck, go to Windows Update and make sure you have all the latest bug fixes for I.E. while you're at it!
