Forging toy for Cockatoo's they love it

ok i have been making these for Sophie and she loves it so i thought i would share. It may not look like much so im sorry its not that pretty but it dont last that long so i dont go for looks LOL

Step 1 ... Toilet paper roll ... fav vegs and treats and fruit. and use ether lettuce leafs or corn husks.

Step 2 ... cut half way down the roll all the way around and weave the husks or lettuce in and out till it fills up the roll. also stuff a same amout inside to as to make a stopper in the bottem.

Step 3 ... fill the inside with there fav vegs and treats, i really pack it in there with the corn husk to make it harder to get out.

Step 4 ... place it in there room ... Sometime i hide it, i show her it before i let her out of the cage and then i hide it so she knows its there but she has to look for it. sometimes i hang it up so hits alittle harder for her to figure out how to ripe it apart as fast LOL ...

Very cute idea!! I'm stealing it too. My U2 dearly loves to forage. I hide things in paper lunch bags for him and weave the ends through his cage bars. He loves that game. Can't wait to try your idea.
