Although I love this little guy, I knew he was just going to be a foster when I brought him home about 3 weeks ago. He is ready to find his forever home and start bonding with his new family. He didn't come with a name and I've been calling him Buddy. He is hand shy inside his cage and will not step up on your fingers yet. With time and trust I think he will. Outside of his cage he will walk over to me for head scratches and rubs. I can rub his beak too. He refuses to eat pellets but I'm still trying to mix in with his seed diet. He eats fresh fruits and veggies and loves pasta. He is very loud and will shriek if ignored. He talks a it, says hello and wolf whistles but also grumbles. He will need an experienced bird owner who has patience and time. He is not a quiet Meyers by any means.
He will come with his cage, food and toys. He seems to prefer women. Hates cardboard boxes with a vengeance.
I'm happy to discuss him further, please e-mail me with any questions if you can't message me here.
I am located in Southern Ca near Ventura.
Thank you,
Julie
