Titleā€¦ I really need a food processor. I am currently forced to chop up my birdsā€™ veggies by hand, which is inefficient but also tends to result in pieces that are too big for their beaks. If anyone could recommend some food processors that have been good for chop-making, I would be very gratefulā€¦ TIA :)

Almost any decent food processer will do, they usually come with inserts to chop veggies to a variety of size and consistency. When I make chop, its like 30 or so baggies of it, w/3 days supply in each. A food processer is a necessity!

Has anyone thought about using pulp from juicing? I usually use the pulp for cooking; omelets, breads etc. Also giving some to my feathered owner. It's a bit fine chopped for larger parrots. But for finicky eaters and attempting to encourage higher veggie intake. It could help w tricking techniques. The pulp can be made into jerky type treats and more. It occurred to me to pass this on. I juice a few times a week. If you consider this check on types. To make sure you get the right one for your needs. I have whats called a masticating type. There's several types with corresponding price ranges.
