I'm not sure if it would work for everyone, but one of my 3 dogs (the old guy) has always been a 'flea magnet'. My dogs tend to be hyper-sensitive to k9 advantix and frontline so i tried a product called "shoo tag". It was a bit of a pain because the dog has to wear it 24/7 to be effective and my dogs don't wear collars unless they are going out, but anyhow, i used it last summer and Chu seemed to stay free of fleas. One of the girls in the vet office asked about it and said she was going to give it a try too.

for treating dogs i recommend Sentinal. its a pill taken once a month it also fights internal parasites as well. combined with a topical treatment works great! it used to cost me $15 a month at the vet to get.
