Flight suit arrived!

My flight suit arrived yesterday so Im starting training. Right now he is on the couch and I put the flight suit next to him and put sunflower seeds on the suit. Hes already eaten 2. But, if I pick up the suit he'll run away. Any tips?

Check out youtube i have saw many videos on training them. That is on my xmas wish list this year so let me know how you do it. I think the biggest thing is taking your time. I will be going through it before long too.

I know you are excited but try not to rush it.....it is best to hang the suit where he can see it near his cage and get use to the presence it..I would say at least a week.
Mine still object to getting them on but once on, they realize it means they get to go outside......I love our flightsuits. Good luck

Honestly I am not patient and I just stuck mine on the parrots. Ida and Chico don't mind it, Bean on the other hand. We had some battles.

Hahaha me neither. Whenever I pick it up around him he flies away though :/

MIne just came yesterday. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all. I have it hung on the door of his cage where he can't get to it. I'm symbolically pushing freedom

I hang it on his cage and he doesnt care about it, but If I pick it up near him he flies away

lolol. I got one wing through then he ran away. Now hes back in his cage eating but I have the flight suit hung right next to his food.
