First picture of Connie

Here is Connie's first picture. Its only day 2 and she's not ready to come out of her cage. On a sad note I believe she is blind in her left eye. She'll be seeing (at least with one eye) the vet next week.

Her left eye looks like black and grey scrambled eggs. The room where she was when I went to get her was not well lit. They never mentioned her eye to me while I was there. No matter, I would have taken her anyway. The picture does not do her justice. She is big and beautiful. Maybe I'll have her wear a patch and she'll really look like a pirate's bird.

The eye patch would be great! I've always been in awe of macaws.

This was at an old car swapmeet just after eye surgery two years ago.

Connie is beautiful ! I would have taken her too , she looks like a real sweetheart
Have fun with her Enjoy the baby time , its amazing how fast they grow!
Im so happy I took lots of pictures of my guys . I look back at their baby pictures and I'm stunned on how different they look already !
