This is a tough emotional decision for me to make, but after giving it a lot of thought it’s the right thing to do.
Domino is NOT my first bird
Before I’ve had 2 female birds
Mango who was a Pineapple Conure and Sydney who was a parakeet.
I bought Domino because I was grieving after loosing Mango.
I’ve had her since I was 9 and she sadly passed away in 2022. I had more time to bond with my bird when I was younger now my life is kind of a stick in the mud which prevents me from spending time with my bird and properly train him.
I want Domino to get the enrichment he needs. Granted I do take care of him and his environment. I don’t want to be that person who just buys and re-homes their bird when they aren’t wanted anymore.
Yes I love him and want him in my life, but I want to consider his.

species: Sun conure (half Jenday)
Sex: Male
Age: about 3 years old
Personality:
Very sweet and interactive! Sort of an attention hog and can be a bit skittish when being handled.
Favorite foods: Honeycrisp apples, Plume, Grapes, papaya, pineapple, corn, cooked beans, and watermelon. He’s not a huge fan of vegetables…I’ve tried several times he refuses.
