A friend works at a local Petsmart and they've had issues with a female Zebra Finch. She keeps getting picked on by others, and she found a friend in a lonely society finch but it was purchased 
They've tried with 4 other finches, both males and females, and though they do great during intros, she gets picked on and plucked by the others when they live together.
My friend took her home and had her checked by a vet and was given an all clear. * she has no bird experience* but I gave her the most important bird companion tips. But know NOTHING about finches.
Her Finch, now dubbed Penelope, seems so lonely even in a group, and now that she has a home her own, my friend wants to do right by her.
What can be done to help Penelope thrive and be happy as a loner?
