Question: What do you guys think of a bird bed for a Senegal? Also, what is the opinion of covering the cage at night? He is super quiet, and sleeps well so far.

Bird beds are death traps and if you think that he is sleeping well without covering there is no reason to cover

Cute little guy, and a very nice set up you have for him so far. One small suggestion, I would try to add a bit more variety in perch types. More specifically aiming at differently shaped and textured perches. For one, having a variety of sized and shaped perches is healthier for his feet, but the textured perches will also help to keep his nails under control so that clipping isn't necessary as often.

Beauty! On perches, grab some branches and cut to size! In your area, Bottlebrush and sycamore are safe choices! Also, PVC, end caps, and some oder free jute or hemp twine..simple perch! With a cage that sturdy, you can just tight fit them into place!
