feathers everywhere?

So Apple turns one next month and for the past 3 days I have found fluffy feathers everywhere... but when I inspect her I dont see any patches.. what gives I am scared worried and concerned

She is molting. :) Nothing to worry about.

It's GREAT to hear from you. How is Apple doing??? Got any pictures of her? :D

I have to post some pics.. she is doing well.. I finally got enough nerve to leave my husband. It has been a rough hard heart breaking road but I am making it. We have settled into our new home just me apple and my son kiah..

She is probably just having a spring "mini molt". Being that the weather is warming up, you will see LOTS of the down feathers that kept her toasty in the winter and not many of her body, wing or tail feathers. *Most* (not all) amazons have a bigger molt in the fall where you see more of the body/wing/tail feathers.
