After seeing that, oh my, I think my guys are neglected!!!! That is amazing! Fargo is one lucky bird! How do you control the poop? My guys poop in certain areas but every now and again they just go....

funny you should mention the two of you are like best friends, because Fargo is in your room, your like room mates and it makes SUCH a difference.....

all of my pets(Halo, Num Num, Tundra, Kahlua etc...) are in our bedroom as well, and we just hang together all the time.

does Fargo hang in other parts of your house or just in your room?

Hahahaha yes, and then the room mates fight- DID YOU TAKE MY IPOD?!?!?!

It is nice having a spot just to relax with them either on a couch or bed!



Umm, depends who is home.. If i am home alone he gets the whole house to fly around in.. If mum is home he will sit in the lounge room or dining room!

If dad is home he isn't allowed out

Well, usually about every hour, i will go get a drink, or get Fargo some food, or just do something.. So he goes in his cage..

As soon as he sees me enter, he will go to the toilet in his cage :20: He learnt that very quickly!

But if he is out, he usually goes where his sleeping perch is, there is newspaper under that.. He can sit off the side of the bed and hit the paper as well!


When i had the big change around, he was a bit confused where to go! :09:


So there are the occasional accidents but 90% of the time he is good!

I started out with the cage, and a natural gym... Then i got boings which i spread across the room.. Then i got plastic chains.. Then i got cat gyms.. Then i got big branches... Then i got ladders and hoops and swings!!

and everything just kept collecting and growing.. Each month it was basically just another section..


And then it turned into this! :09:

Mine already have 4 play gyms,and i had to trow away 2 closets to make room for them.
I now have an desk a bed and 1 closet.
My stuff is banned to the attic ,so now i have to get upstairs if i want anything.

They long heavy duty plastic chains, anyone know where I can find those in the US? I know Coqui has one and loves it. All I can find are the smaller ones that are not as sterdy.

Not super thick.. I know in america you can get HUGE chains, but the biggest i can find in Aus is only 12mm -_-

So expensive as well! I think 8mm was 6 dollars a meter :20:

That really is an amazing setup! Kind of reminds me of how I felt the first time I saw a Sony 4K tv. My "regular" high def led tv looked pretty good to me until I caught sight of all of those ULTRA HIGH DEF images!
So, of course, now I feel like my bird is living in a hovel. Thanks, Tab. Lol!
