This video gives me goosebumps each and every time I watch it! :D

I love EVERYTHING about it! Just beautiful!

You and Fargo have THE best love story! Definitely meant to be!!! :D

...now let me watch it again. ;)

He is so freaking cute!!! I love how he sticks his tongue out at you!!! You have such a sweet beautiful bird!!!

:pThis is SO Beautiful...Love how you edited with music, perfect. Oh and then there is Fargo...you have yourself a wonderful life partner there. :21:

Great video, you've done a very good job with him. I like how he lies down on his back and lets you to play with his legs:)

Amazing!

How old is Fargo and how long have you been working with him?

Thanks,

Forbey

Awww thank you guys :D

Thats my favourite song at the moment, i just play it on repeat :09: hehe

I got Fargo the 8th of September 2012 ;)
and he was born the 28th of January 2012

So he is about a year and a halfish :22:

I was doing alot of training for the first few months, although it was only one training session a day, which was about 5 minutes, so not that long..

but now its maybe once a week we do a training session!

We go through each trick once or twice, and if we are learning a new one, we do it maybe just 5 times, then thats enough!

But the problem has been for the past month or so that we dont have anything new to learn! So i was just so slack.. but now we have started to learn the 'hide' trick and a card trick, so i will get into gear again and start training more!

Thank you! :)

Ummm just like the basic technique?

I dont use clicker training, i just have the piece of nut for a reward!

All the tricks are just basic movements he will do, which i then just asked him to do on command! :)

To get him to do something, i make him follow the nut into the position, like turning around- he follows the nut around... hanging upside down- he follows the nut backwards.. or forwards..

And i give the command and a hand signal for each trick, so each time we practice, i do the command, so he learns when to do it! :)

When he flapped his wings after a shower, i would say stick em up, and reward, so he caught on that he had to flap his wings up on command!

Shaking hands was just stepping up, but then rewarding when he only put one foot up, then waving was he was about to shake hands, but i wouldnt let him grab my finger, so he would then hold his foot up! so he learnt to wave! :p

If theres any particular trick you want advice on how to teach it, i would be more than happy to help! :)

Nothing in particular for me, I was just wondering what you did. Sounds easy enough, or rather, I know it will take time but it doesn't sound complicated. Thanks!

Wow!!!!!
What a bird!
You both are soooooo lucky to have each other.

No problem Mando! Let me know how it goes :D if he only holds his foot down to wave, you just have to hold your finger higher and he will lift his foot higher :)

Yes it is fairly easy! Just make training fun and short and Ruby will love training and learning :)

Thanks torrap :D I feel pretty lucky to have Fargo!

Wow! Incredible :) You have quite an awesome bird there. I can only hope our girl will do half of what Fargo does :) If not we'll love her anyways! haha
