Thank you for checking in on her. :) She seems better and the swelling/redness is much less noticible.

I think I am going to cancel today's appt since she was so stressed out when we went (and the fact that when my daughter mentioned the word vet this morning, Rosie froze, dropped her beak open and dumped out her cashew). I am going to keep an eye on it and hopefully it will continue to improve. If she seems like it is bothering her or it gets bad again I will call right away. I just can't see bringing her if she doesn't absolutely need to go, since it was so upsetting for her.

Good call, Kendra!! I did crack up laughing when you described Rosie's reaction when she heard the word "vet". LoL.

Thank you so much for the update. :)

So glad to hear she is doing better, Kendra! Poor Rosie, she has had a bad week:(
I think canceling the vet was smart as well, as stressed as she was. Hoping everything gets back to normal soon!

ROFL!! Sorry, but that is hillarious!! :D

I'm glad she's doing better and agree that it's best not to traumatise her further unless it is absolutely necessary. Also, you don't want her to fear and hate the vet incase one day, god forbid, she desperately needs him.

Give her a scritch from me :)

She seems back to normal. Whew!! Singing with my daughter and demanding her Apple every few minutes.

Thank you for asking, I appreciate it. :)

I'm considering investing in apples. Which "variety" does Rosie get? HAHAHAHHAHA!!!!

GREAT to know she's back to her sassy, sweet self. :D

So happy for you and Rosie that she is better!

Thanks ladies!

Rosie generally eats Fuji, but I think any will do in a pinch. ;). What about your guys?

My guys like Gala or red delcious;)

Any apple as long as it's crunchy and not too sour. :D And no, I don't go into the farmer's market biting chunks out to taste test them first. :30:

But they love it when you do that...especially when it isn't crunchy and you put it back into the pile:)
