Hi all! So I was wondering if any of you know which surfaces are appropriate for using F10 SC (after diluting)? I saw a video of a parrot trainer spraying her entire cage, including wood perches, cuttlebone, toys with cardboard and various materials etc; and not rinsing.

I thought great, finally something I can use safely on the whole cage (been washing metal cages with Dawn and thoroughly rinsing). But when it arrived the instructions said to use on nonporous surfaces, which got me thinking, maybe it is only safe on metal cage and bowls, but not perches toys etc;?

Just want to be sure my babies are safe. Thank you for your help!!

I use it on EVERYTHING. Not only bird related but on whatever I want to disinfect including all over my kitchen, refrigerators, coolers, etc.
Can't tell that it has harmed anything but what it's supposed to.

Good advice above!
I am such a Luddite (my new vocabulary word)... I just use water. And a spray hose. And sunlight, to dry.

Thanks for responding. Do you rinse it off too? Or just leave it?

I mix it as directed, give contact time and then wipe dry with clean towel or paper towels. You can rinse it but I understand there is no need to. The other formulation of this product that contains a detergent says to rinse and dry.
